I’m a 40 year old man with flexibility issues and a leg disability. I have tried dozens of yoga video series from Amazon and YouTube and despite my medical issues, I was able to keep up with the lessons and noticed significantly more flexibility from one session to the next. Highly recommend this series.

I’ve been doing yoga for about 4 months but I’ve been struggling with balance/core so I thought I’d give this a try. It was a lot more challenging then I expected and I tried a foam roller for the first time (also a lot more intense then I expected). I’m just over half way through and I expect I’ll go through these all a couple more times before I go back to some of the other challenges.

Julia is easy to follow and details every move & breath without being annoying. I took a few years off from yoga and chose this to be my reintroduction back into daily practice and it has been incredibly enjoyable. I actually find myself looking forward to time on the mat. I will definitely be looking for more of her workouts, as she is probably one of the best instructors I have yet to find.

This was a great series for a real yoga novice. It takes you through the basics. It’s not too easy, and yet it’s not too hard. The instructor takes time to walk you through the poses but doesn’t stall to the point of where you want to yell at the TV! She’s very calming and boosts your confidence. The last few courses work your way up to things that are more advanced like crow pose and inversions, but you can still do the prep work for them even if you don’t get there right away like me! I plan on returning to the series for those poses as I gain confidence. I am going to watch more of her videos!

Non-judgmental and confidence boosting! Highly recommend!

Its been a while since I’ve done yoga, or really any exercise for that matter, so I was nervous to start again. I found this yoga “challenge” (I usually hate exercise challenges) and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. The instructor is incredibly helpful and uses descriptions of the poses that are easy to follow. She used language that made me feel calm and reminded me not to judge myself. I knew the basic yoga moves already, but the tips she included to tailor each pose to my needs was incredibly valuable. If nothing else this challenge serves to show that there are no right or wrong ways to do these exercises. The title is perfectly reflective of the content of the video series.

Great instruction with challenging, but not impossible poses. I’ve been out of practice for quite a while (and had a baby and gained weight) but was able to follow along and also learn about good technique (correct posture in different poses). Instructor also describes real physiological benefits of yoga and the different poses without any spacey granola that might make you second-guess why your following her. Recommend you turn it on and do what you can right now, repeat as necessary!

Just finished the 14 day yoga challenge with Julia Marie and I have to say it was extremely enjoyable. Each day Julia tackles a different pose and breaks it down into easy to follow steps. By day 14 you’ll wish it will never end. Julia’s positive energy shines through and motivates you to become the best version of yourself. I’m definitely going through the program again!
