This Book Is A "Must" To Obtain True Enjoyment From A Hobby of Target Shooting
I am a practitioner on mindfulness meditation. I wanted to engage in target shooting since I was a small girl but unfortunately, being busy, I postponed it to my mid-sixties. Something about the technicalness and discipline required to perform well at target shooting appeals to me. I have participated in five different classes, mostly geared towards safety and technique. I have a range membership to ensure that I practice weekly. I noticed that shooting seemed to calm me and actually Googled “Zen target shooting”. I have been curious about the more psychological aspects of shooting well.
Shooting As One
Excellent book for both the beginner and the established shooter. Mind set, physical control, calm aggressiveness – – – a range of techniques to help mind and body shoot as one.
I am trying to apply my skills to shooting my Glock but so far it is not so easy. That’s what makes it fun
I am very familiar with Zen and meditation. I am trying to apply my skills to shooting my Glock but so far it is not so easy. That’s what makes it fun!!! Very helpful book.
Great book, I highly recommend it.
Great book, I highly recommend it, not only for shooters but for anyone seeking to improve their life or performance in any sport. Well written and makes great connection between everyday life tasks and zen. Well worth the money. Thanks
Thank You Ray Mancini for this Book!
I loved this book but this review is on behalf of my wife Janny – “This last year has been HELL for me for so many reasons and I’ve turned to this book so many times. I cannot recommend it enough. HIGHLY recommend this book, not just for shooters but for everyone!!! A FANTASTIC read! I don’t really feel comfortable about putting out there what this year has been like (the real me and what is going on isn’t for public viewing, it’s weakness I don’t like being exposed) virtually no one knows, BUT would feel completely selfish if I didn’t share how much your book helped me through some hellish, scary and shitty times”
This is one fantastic book, I’m half way through the book and it’s just fantastic.
