Meditation is one of the most beneficial ability one must learn if he aims to have a stress free living. Meditation helps is disposing negative vibes from our minds. Learning quick and easy meditation techniques will allow us to take control of our thoughts and what we let our mind think of. When we get to master meditation, we will start to fill our minds with positive thought only. Therefore we will be occupied by good feelings instead of negative ones even if we encounter problems and challenges.

- Do a simple breathing meditation
Breathing is an important part in meditation. This will help you control what crosses your mind. To do this, find a quiet place. A silent area is the most essential part in doing a correct meditation. Concentration is impossible in a noisy environment. When you get to that perfect location, be in your most comfortable body position. Cross sitting position is what most people are using. It actually does not matter what sitting position you are in, as long as you are comfortable and your back is straight. Maintain a straight back to avoid getting sleepy.
To begin the breathing meditation, close your eyes and focus in breathing. As we continue to do this, thoughts may enter our mind, and it would be really hard to avoid it. Just return your focus to breathing every time this will happen. Just keep doing this until you can take control on your concentration in breathing. This is to help you learn how to control what enters your mind.
- Have a conscious knowledge of your worries
While you are doing breathing meditation, try keeping track of the things that you uncontrollably think of. So not focus on any thought. What you simply need to do is to let them pass by your mind freely.. The purpose of this is to give you awareness of what you actually think of. This can actually include all your problems and everything that occupies your mind. Remember, recognizing your problems is the first step in eliminating them, and this will also lead you to personal and spiritual growth.
- Learn how to be in a mental state called hypnogic state
The mental state called hypnogic state is the border line of sleeping and dreaming. This is done by lying down while raising one arm. This is to give you pure knowledge on your thoughts. This step will help you in your thoughts awareness, and since your one arm is held up, it would fall down to wake you up in case you doze off.
- Say your thoughts out loud
You cannot get rid of something you do not know. So you cannot eliminate worries if you do not start by recognizing them. As you master the first steps in meditating, proceed to taking it to the next level. In this step what you should do is, every time a thought enters your mind, you say it out loud. In doing this, you will realize that every time you speak out what bothers you, it leaves your mind.
- Repeat the steps
To work for mastery, you must undergo continuous practice. Repeat each step to be able to master the whole procedure of meditation. Another important thing is that, you do not proceed to the next step without having to master the previous steps. Meditation is effective in relieving our minds from stress. What are needed are concentration, focus, and determination. If you have all these, you will be able to activate the power of subconscious and be able to master meditation.
