Can you figure the real difference between urban areas and rural areas when talking about how to handle stress? I know the real difference between these places. I was born in the metro area and I am used to the lifestyle they have. You will see many tall buildings, noisy streets, busy people walking around the city, heavy traffic, etc.
These are all the things you find everyday in the city. As you can see, technologies presently can certainly give you stress. These can eventually give you headache, will make you feel irritable and would give you a life filled with stress.
I have read an article written by Minakhee Mishra, she said, “Stress is mostly considered as an urban phenomenon. However, stress is a part of our lives, be it in rural or urban area. The only difference is in the way urban and rural people react to stress. Due to the advantages one has in the urban areas (education, rational thinking), people is not cut off from reality easily but their reaction is that of anxiety and panic.”
For those people residing in urban areas who wish
To relax from all those stress related things they meet daily, there are many solutions to handle your stress. One tip to release stress is to “stretch, meditate and relax” according to Mishra; and this technique is effective.
If you haven’t yet tried doing meditation, there are several meditation techniques that are helpful for you. For those who have no idea what is the purpose of meditation, it is actually a method of calming your mind and attempting not to think of anything. Simply make this as your daily routine and watch how this technique can eventually change your life. Upon getting up in the morning, you need to give time in meditating for around 20-30 minutes before doing anything for that particular day.
Since you’re living in the urban area, you have to look for a place away from the noisy environment so that you are comfy while doing meditation. Then, have a sit with the place you are most comfortable. Then start breathing slowly and try to listen to your breathing. Your mission is to attempt not to think of anything. If this is not helpful for you, having music on meditation will help you to relax.
For those who live in rural areas, life is different as compared to living in the urban areas. Most of the people in rural areas don’t experience being stress because of the quiet environment they have. But for most people in the rural areas who think of many things in life and would want to relax their minds, there are several meditation techniques for beginners that are great for them.
Whether you are living in the urban areas or in the rural areas, stress is something that we have to manage in our lives. Stress is something that hinders us to accomplish all the activities we have every day. Everybody must relax our very own minds and bodies from all the stress we come across every day. We deserve to have a happy life without getting stress.
