I’m confused by the reviews that say there was no strap with this mat. I initially thought it came without one, but it was wrapped up in the middle – so don’t worry when you get it and you don’t immediately see the straps. You’ll need them, too, since many non-adjustable yoga mat straps are much too small for this thick mat. If you buy other straps that are more attractive than plain black, just make sure you buy adjustable ones. As you can see in my picture, though, there was a plain black strap with the mat. It smelled a little bit when I first opened it, but after leaving it unfolded overnight, that dissipated.

Perfect if you need a large mat with extra padding

I am a bigger person just starting yoga so I needed the larger, more padded mat. So far I love it. Since I’ve began yoga i lost 12 pounds and have stayed motivated to do it 4 days a week now. I did find out I get super hungry after my workouts…so it’s a struggle to not cheat on my diet. To help this I am taking a carb blocker called

Love the mat, but packaging damaged it.

This mat is great, just what I needed for my workouts. It’s just the right amount of thickness and it’s very comfortable when laying on your back.

It’s alright

It’s alright. With repeated use the foam permanently collapses, becoming unable to retake its original form. Keep in mind, I weigh 135 LBS.

Best exercise mat EVER!

This mat is so great that ASAP I finish writing this review I’m going to purchase another one for my husband. We have hard laminate floors with no give and the regular yoga mats don’t work. This mat is not only comfortable and roomy enough to work on but has lots of give as well. I definitely recommend this mat to anyone who does yoga, floor exercises, stretching, etc. And BTW while I’m flexible I am also no spring chicken and this mat helps with the joints, too.

I bought this for the thickness.

And it met my expectations. Yes, there will be indents from the straps on the mat, but if you lay it out for long enough, it will go back to flat. But then will show indents again, if you store it in straps. Regardless, the mat was comfortable and it helps with my stretches and ab exercises. I couldn’t stand the thin yoga mats – I’m not trying to damage my knees or back. Good purchase.

This is a good, thick, reasonably priced mat. I like that it came with a carrying strap and I like that it is soft and comfortable! Like all mats made of this material, it is not meant for what I am using it for (an outside bootcamp), so it has suffered a few gouges and dings. It stands up really, really well to my dirty tennis shoes, dropped weights (only 15lbs but still) and sometimes inclimate weather (be careful, it gets slick with dew or sweat). Overall, comparable to other similar mats out there and a fair price. I am not disappointed in my purchase.
