Where the mind ends, meditation begins
What a great deal. Two books for one price. There was almost too much information to give a detailed review, but I’ll try. The mediation book shows us how exactly we can mediate. Meditation is something beyond the mind. One of the goals of meditation is to still the mind. There are only two things we can completely control and those are our thoughts and our actions. The author explains quite well the various forms of meditation such as walking, guided, mantra, and paying attention to ones breath. As for as mindfulness, it is awareness, discernment, circumspection and retention. The inherent ability to be aware of the present moment. The author shares several quotes from such notable as Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama which I enjoyed.
The chance of someone going through this world never hearing about meditation are very slim. However, there is so much to know and discover about this subject and yet, for most of us, meditation remains kind of a mystery.
How to Start Meditating and How to Live in the Present
This is a set of two books. The first book tells you exactly how to meditate, how to use meditation techniques to calm you mind and how to practice meditation daily. The author says that meditating for a few minutes a day can significantly reduce stress and improve your health. This book will help you overcome the common obstacles to developing a long term meditation habit. This book is easy to read and easy to understand. I like that the author wrote as if she were speaking to the reader.

The benefits of Meditation is hard to ignore and having two important topics bundled together in a single purchase was too great for me to pass up. I really like how the author does such a beautiful job in helping you understand the proper way to meditate, being a beginner myself, the value I found in this book was tremendous, if you are new at meditation or just want a new angle to help you reduce stress and anxiety in the most efficient way possible, grab this book now!. Mindfulness is packed with great information on how to gain and perfect your personal self mastery. Being able to free yourself from stress and anxiety without the aid of unnatural stimulants is a very important skill to learn. I really enjoyed both of these books and highly recommend them to anyone looking to live a more stress free and relaxed life.

After researching the benefits of meditation, I decided to get this book to learn more about it. I am glad I did. Yesenia’s work is very in depth and informative. This is one of the best books I have read on self development (which I read often). If you open your mind and try this out, it can change your life. Would recommend to anyone

I am keen to learn more about meditation and have tried it a few times in the past but find it difficult to stay focused. I found this book useful as it gives you guided meditations and shows you how to provoke a meditative state.

A great gift idea!
If I could give it more stars, I would. I prefer the Mindfulness over the Meditation part of the book but it’s still a good deal. The only regret that I have is that I didn’t purchase the hard copy. It’s hard to be mindful or to meditate while holding a electronic device. Buy a copy for others as gifts!!
Meditation for beginners is perfect if you don’t know where to start.
As someone that suffers with anxiety I have been told by tons of people to try meditation but I didn’t know where to begin. I came across this box set and decided to give it a try. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t stop. I finally feel like I can begin a regular meditation practice and not only is this good for anxiety but as it outlines it the book, meditation has many benefits (health, emotional, confidence etc). Also, the mindfulness book reminded me of ways to live in the present moment which is where happiness lies. I was able to try the mindfulness exercises right away and I already feel calmer and happier. I highly recommend this set to anyone that wants to learn how to meditate and begin a mindfulness practice.
