I bought my copy of these two meditations directly from Dr. Joe’s website as a download for $4.95 for the both of them, instead of $14.82 for the CD that’s listed here. He must have read your criticisms and re-recorded it, because the sound quality is decent enough for an mp3 file: 44.1 kHz at 192 kbps (one reviewer here said the CD audio quality was VERY bad). And, there is none of the offending sibilance (hissing sounds) in evidence. His website says, “new edition now includes an introduction by Dr. Joe & new song,” which implies that he must have issued a new recording of these two meditations. So you might want to avoid the older version listed here.

Using this CD has been amazing. After reading the book and doing all of the writing assignments, I was able to expand my self-awareness 10 fold. I am a school social worker who has been doing spiritual work for more than 30 years. Amazingly, I learned so much about my subconscious feelings and thoughts. I have been doing the meditations for 30 days. I have to say, that they are transforming my mind and my life. I have already shared the book. I will soon share the meditations with others. I highly recommend this tool.

I truly have a desire to change my life. 1st thing I did was read “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself.” The next step was taken on the New Moon to start Day 1 of the meditation CD. The 1st day was a struggle because my mind & body fought staying present. I continued for the next 6 days each day was easier then the previous day to stay in the zone. Preceded to Phase 2 on day 8 it was basically uneventful did the exercise as required. Day 9 I actually had a break through when doing stage 2 of meditation. I could feel my mind vibrating, maybe it was rewiring itself all I know is something was happening. This is my experience I plan on continuing my morning meditations on schedule as directed in book.
It is never too late.

His ideas, methods and program are revolutionary and will help SO many people, no matter how young or old, finally realize their highest potential. Thank you, Dr. Joe! There are many free videos online where you can learn more about his approach. The book and CD brings all of his ideas together concisely, in one place.

This book is amazing. I really does a great job and road mapping the brain and expressing it some I could understand it. It has some worksheets in the back that helps walk you through some behaviors and learning what the root of them may be in your own personal life journey. For anyone seriously wanting to understand the brain in order to change some unwanted patters of behavior, this is a great start. It is fairly scientific at the start, you may need to re-read some of it but it evens out after a few chapters. Dr. Dispenza simply wants to give the reader a basic blue print for understanding what part of the brain is being used and what they do when a person has thoughts, feelings i.e..

These are amazing meditations, however make sure you have enough time to devote to them if you wish to read all the benefits. These are profound, powerful and so expansive!

For the first week I tried the meditation up to the first gong sound and I didn’t really ‘get it’. Once I progressed past that I thought it was absolutely amazing!

I read the book and I find it informative, but not very easy to read. The CD is not for me. I don’t like how it sounds. It is not relaxing for me because of that. In a deep relaxation introduction you have to like the voice, the speed, the music, and the combination between the volume of the voice and music.
