This book is great because it has pictures and a step by step guide you can follow to meditate. Each type of meditation is explained really well, i.e. zen, yoga and walking meditation.

This book is definitely for the person who wants to learn not only how to practice meditation, but also the history, and a comprehensive list of all its benefits, which I must add is quite a long list! Ch 3 which listed all the different sorts of meditations was easily my favorite, definitely pick this read up!
